Amazon Author Central Profile

Now that you are an author, you are eligible to include your author information in Amazon’s Author Central database. To set up your Author Central Profile, visit https://authorcentral.amazon.com/

Author Name

Ensure your Author Name on any books you publish matches exactly what you have set up in your Author Central Profile

Author Page

At a minimum, set up your Biography and include at least one photo

1. Biography – do not make it a resume. Start the biography about how you help your clients and prospects.
2. Author Page URL – direct link to your Author Profile. This can be used in your marketing or Social Media profile.
3. Photos – upload relevant photos. Use a headshot as your bio picture. Other pictures of speaking events or meetings can be included.
4. Videos – upload interview or speaking videos, or a podcast interview about your book
5. Twitter – include your Twitter feed
6. Blogs – include your Blog feed
7. Events – list any speaking events or events relevant to your business or book

Books

1. If your published books do not show up in the section, click on “Add More Books”
2. Search for the title and Amazon will present some suggestions. Find your book and click on “This is My Book” and it will be associated with your Author Profile.
3. Again, be sure your Author Profile name matches exactly the Author Name listed in the book.
4. It may take a day or two for this to be associated with your account.
5. A link to your Author Central Profile will then be included under any book associated with your account.
